Get ready for a sweet day of community, creativity, and entrepreneurship! Join us for From Batter to Business, a community bake sale designed to spotlight local bakers and cottage food businesses from across North Florida and South Georgia.

Beat the heat and enjoy a summer cool indoor experience! This event will be held inside, so you can shop, support, and indulge comfortably while staying out of the Florida heat.

This event is more than just desserts—it’s a platform for passionate creators to showcase their talents, connect with the community, and grow their business.

What to Expect:

• Local vendors from Jacksonville, Fernandina Beach, Brunswick, Kingsland & surrounding areas

From Batter to Business!☀️🍰

Summer is almost here! Give your child an experience that’s fun, creative, and empowering!

From Batter to Business is a hands-on program where youth turn their love for baking into a real business: from idea to income.

Participants will join 4 pre-event Zoom sessions to learn branding, pricing, and business basics, then bring it all together during a full-day, in-person experience where they’ll bake, package, and sell their own creations in a real marketplace setting.

Dates: July 11, 18, 25 & August 1 (Zoom) |

August 8 (In-Person)
Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: MLK Center, Fernandina Beach, FL
Ages: 12–17 (younger may join baking portion only)
Investment: $50 (includes all supplies + real selling experience)
